THE INCARNATION OF CHRIST IN YOU

BECAUSE CHRIST IS - WE BELONG

The idea that we must make ourselves worthy of Christ before we can have oneness with Christ is a common piece of misinformation that fosters separation from God, moralism, legalism and living from the knowledge of good and evil instead of union with Christ. It dulls Christianity and dims any life-giving agency we may have had.

THE BARENESS OF CONTRACT
The contractual account of God that the followers of Pelagius are forced to introduce because of their overriding emphasis on human activity strips out God's love. They have thereby rejected one of the most important insights that Jesus gives us into the character of God. And they have thereby abandoned our key truth—that Jesus is the one point where God has come to us, fully entered into our situation so there can be no confusion and no excuses, and revealed what he is really like.

“Indeed, we can see now how Pelagius's disciples have just accepted a gambit from the devil and unleashed the horsemen of the foundationalist apocalypse.. They have imposed a truth drawn from their own locations onto God and controlled the information that God supplies them with through Jesus.” (1)
ARMINIANISM
Notions such as ‘keeping close to Jesus’  and ‘steps to Christ, ‘are a subtle and life vitiating legalism that undoes the real you and obscures the real Christ who has entered our lives and included us in His – prior to any work of our own.
Jesus has made Himself one with our life and with us by atonement and incarnation.
THE HOLINESS OF A NON-RELIGIOUS LIFE
A non religious view of life is so because Christ has invested God in us, so that the sacred is not confined to church or pieties but has embedded itself in us in the Ordinary.

So that the ordinary is not carnal but is sacred in Christ and His daughters and sons in the special times and places of life – such as
Walking by Flashlight in the Morning.
